About

Juniper Play started as a group chat where four friends kept throwing each other screenshots of weird little games nobody else was writing about. At some point we figured we should just put the notes somewhere public. So here we are.,Everything you read here comes from actual sessions on real phones, usually mid-range Android handsets and a couple of older iPhones, because that's what most people actually carry. We don't review from trailers. If we didn't finish it or at least play a serious chunk, we say so.,We lean toward indie and small-studio releases because that's where the surprises live. A two-person team will try something a big publisher never would. Those risks don't always pay off, but when they do, it's the best feeling in mobile gaming.,Nobody pays us to feature a game, and we pick titles based on what caught our attention that month. Some months that means a quiet puzzle game, other months a chaotic racer. We keep it broad on purpose.
